Wraparound

This cabinet base VersaLine labeling system features many custom product inspection and
verification options to meet the stringent demands of today’s pharmaceutical industry. Safety and
variable information is downloaded and printed onto wraparound labels and applied to small
diameter vials at speeds of 200 products per minute.
As vials enter the product conveyor, they are separated by a single feed screw assembly. This
allows proper orientation and spacing of the product during the labeling process.
Verification and inspection stations are located throughout the system to ensure accurate label
placement and markings. A Microscan 710 bar code scanner and missing imprint verification
inspect the labels on the web to ensure the label contains a bar code and imprint. After labeling,
a Sick LUT 3.62 camera verifies that the product has been labeled. Any unlabeled or unmarked
vial detected is ejected from the system.
Other system features include a high-speed, stepper-driven Q60 label applicator, advanced
microprocessor control and complete AC inverter drive integration.
