This unique labeling system applies full wrap labels
plus top and bottom labels to smokeless tobacco
containers at speeds of 300 products per
minute. This is accomplished by combining a
Rotary labeling system with a dual hugger top/
bottom labeling system.
The primary labeling station is comprised of a
509mm diameter, 12-tool rotary base and an advanced,
high-speed applicator to dispense the
wraparound labels.
A second, ‘stand alone’ system applies labels to
the top and bottom of the product. This system
utilizes dual side belt conveyors to transport the
product across the bottom labeling station.
The high-speed, servo driven label applicators are
microprocessor controlled and encoder-based,
which allows all settings to be controlled through a
single input, permanently stored in memory.
Quadrel's Rotary labeling systems are available in
a wide variet of base diameters, accomodating virtually
any speed requirements. From one to six
labeling heads can apply numerous labels to a single
product or provide zero-downtime redundancy.
