This Q31 is integrated with a ModuLine wrap system to automatically apply decorative labels with
variable information to cylindrical products.
This low-cost solution incorporates a preprinted label with a compliance requirement by having the
operator download bar code and variable information to a thermal transfer print engine. The Q31
with the "wipe-on" module, prints and applies a label to the product. The ModuLine wrap product
handling impresses the label around the product. Although the machine is not a true "next out"
design, it dramatically saves machinery and consumable costs by virtually eliminating the loop
commonly found on "loose-loop" thermal transfer systems.
The Q31 can be quickly changed to a decorative-only labeler by removing the print engine and
installing our "apply-only" module in its place.
This application highlights the Q31's Direct Wipe-On module. Other Q31 modules include
Air-Blow, Dual Side Tamp, Pneumatic Wipe-On, Leading Panel, and Trailing Panel Corner Wrap.
