The Q31 with Quadrel's adjacent side module prints and applies labels to the
leading panel, side panel or both leading and side panels of corrugated boxes. The
design of this module puts the Q31 in a "nose down" configuration minimizing
the required foot print of the system. This design also allows up to 7" wide label
to be placed on the label pad.
System operation is simple:
Tamp technology is used on the leading panel and wipe-on technology is
used on the side panel. By simply keying in a different mode, the Q31 microprocessor coordinates the functions
of the applicator to place the label on the leading panel, side panel, or both.
Compliance labeling needs are made easier with the ability to interchange modules on
the same chassis.
This application highlights the Dual Side Panel Module. Other modules include Air-Blow,
Direct Wipe-On, Pneumatic Wipe-On, Leading Panel, and Trailing Panel Corner Wrap.
