The label printer-applicator is integrated with a customer-furnished case
sealer to print and apply case identification / bar code labels. Labels are applied
around the leading corner of corrugated cartons at speeds up to 20 products per minute.
If the secondary corner wrap mechanism is deactivated, labels may also be printed and
applied to only the sides of cartons as they pass between the top and bottom drive
belts of the case sealer.
The system is easily adapted to apply labels around the trailing corners of cartons
as well, while a lead screw permits the accurate vertical positioning of the labeler.
Options include bar code scanners / verifiers and label design software packages.
