This versatile labeling system applies wraparound labels to cylindrical, tapered containers. The addition of a thermal transfer printer allows this system to apply pre-printed decorative labels, variable information labels or a combination of both.

The thermal transfer printer is integrated into the labeling operation by a loop control. As labels are applied to the product, a sensor in the supply loop activates the printer, ensuring a smooth supply of labels for the labeling process.

Label printing and application occur separately and simultaneously. This permits faster speeds than would be possible with a 'next off' print and apply system.

The products are accumulated on the rotary table after the labeling process.

Features of this system include microprocessor control, set up memory for up to 20 label presets, encoder-based velocity compensation and all standard faults.
