Various labels are applied to the side panels of a wide variety
of plastic beverage containers. Up to 250 products per minute
are labeled as they travel along the integrated conveyor.
The stepper-driven Q60 wipe-on labeler / product drive belt combination applies
labels to wet and cold surfaces more precisely than other methods including
air-blow labeling.
The presence of the applied bar code label is verified with a bar code scanner
that reads each UPC-A bar code as it passes. If an unlabeled product or an
unreadable bar code is detected, the product is ejected from the system.
This system is specifically designed for demanding environments such as dairies
and water bottling plants and includes overhead electronics and over 24" of
conveyor height adjustment.
