The custom wraparound labeling system applies labels to various sizes of collapsible
tubes. A set of mandrels is designed for each diameter product (up to 2-1/2") to support
the product during the labeling process.
The operator manually loads a product onto each mandrel. As the mandrel wheel indexes,
it spins the product as the label is applied in one movement. A pneumatic sole-noid
ejects the labeled product onto a stainless steel tray.
The operation of the Mod 3 is controlled by a programmable logic controller to ensure
maximum flexibility and dependability. The compact, rugged aluminum plate construction
accepts various label imprinters and coders for date, lot and bar coding.
