The Premier labeling system features redundant label applicators for zero-downtime, 24/7 operation.  The system features color touch screen controls.  The software has user friendly easy-to-navigate menus that store different products by SKU and product name.  Each product and label size is stored for repeatable changeovers.

The redundant labeling head cross over feature allows the labeling task to be changed to a backup labeling head either manually or automatically.  In automatic mode, when the primary labeling head faults, the PLC controls transfer the labeling function to the backup labeling head without missing or double labeling any products.

When clearing the faulted labeling head, the head is retracted to the Service Position for maintenance.  When retracted the labeling head is pulled out of product flow so the operator can rethread labels, clean the web path, etc. Once reset, the labeling head is placed back in the Ready position for automatic crossover.
