The heavy-duty Premier labeling system applies two labels to a cylindrical
tapered plastic container. This particular system is configured with two Q60 wipe on
label applicators, dual feed screw drive unit, extended top hold down conveyor and
wrap station.
Products are automatically transferred onto the product conveyor. Products are aligned
in the dual feed screw drive unit, securely held in place by the top hold down
conveyor and labeled by the Q60 labeling heads. As the product travels, the wrap
station completes the front and back label wipe down around the product.
The Premier meets the stringent demands of today's high-speed, multishift operations
and is available in configurations of front/back wraparound, spot, neck or any
combination. All components are anodized aluminum or stainless steel. Encoder-based
speed compensation automatically synchronizes the labeler to the system's product
handling.
The electronics package includes a PLC with touch screen control featuring onboard
diagnostics, product and label counters, rate indicator and memory for 50 label presets.
