This custom designed Q41 features "finger tamp" applicator technology. This unique applicator positively impresses labels on most irregular or wet surfaces.

The "finger tamp" applicator uses floating tubes or fingers to drive the label from the vacuum grid onto the product. An air cylinder is used to advance the "finger tamp" assembly.

The floating tubes conform to the surface of the product providing a positive contact between the label and the target area. The Q41 "finger tamp" was originally designed for the poultry industry, but it is also ideal for bakeries, dairies, snack foods or other applications with delicate or difficult to label products.
